I built this simple yet functional site for my client in Squarespace. There are no custom code/graphics on this site due to my client's low budget; yet I still produced a site within his specifications that looks actractive, and is easy for my client to update.
Purpose
Feature the Bryan Hubbard’s professional history to potential employers, supported by personal info, and strengthened by a list of media apperances. Unlike most websites I’ve developed, the purpose is entirely informative, rather than to generate leads.
The Process
This job was referred to me by Brad of integrationcommunications.com.
- Bryan, Brad, and I had a meeting to discuss specifications and logistics, and agree on the purpose and content of the site.
- I built a Squarespace 7.1 site within a day, Brad reviewed it.
- I revised the site according to his feedback.
- Bryan, Brad, and I met to review it together.
- I make final revisions from Bryan’s feedback.
The Client’s Design Specifications
Build a small site with no custom work using Squarespace within a couple of days. The client requested:
- A French blue color
- A mandala hidden subtly
- Links to media articles
- A contact form
The Chalenge
Producing an elegent website on a tight budget that my less tech literate client can update on his own with new content.
Result
A stylish and professional 2 page website that included professional history, a highlight on his latest work in ibogaine research, video cards displaying my client’s press appearances, and a simple contact page.
